Pop, pop, pop music

This little popcorn box was made from the beautiful gifts I received for my birthday from the lovely Kate. This box was inspired by a recent outing with my Mum, who took my son to the local KFC as a treat. He had a kid's meal which contained a little box of chicken popcorn. My husband bless him, always thinking of me brought home the box, as he thought I might like it (what a weird gift you maybe thinking lol). I deconstructed it and thought hmm, I could do that. If you see below it was easy just to trace round it , add some score lines and voila.

Have you had any great and weird finds like this one from the most unlikely objects?

Have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

p.s the lovely Aimes (check her out now before she gets too famous !) asked about the distressing I did on a couple of my cards yesterday. I use an old pair of scissors and open the blades and using just one side of it drag it down the paper / card repeatedly until I get the desired effect - hope it helps x

Supplies (I am doing a lot of guessing as they were a gift) - Papertreyink raspberry fizz paper & ribbon. Stampin Up: Whisper white card stock, misc: linen thread. Misc: Black stazon, pink chalk, sentiment from stash.

Hi Emma, what a super little box, I'll have to try that. I'm a huge Popcorn fan, I love it! but have to be careful it's very fattening (well it is the way I like it) lots of butter and salt.

Yummy popcorn - one of my fave treats (sweet of course!) and it's made all the more adorable with your box! You've got your hubby well trained with your crafty mind - my bf still raises one eyebrow at my crafty ideas! LOL!
Ta very much for answering my question - I was hoping you had some magic tool that did it all! Not sure if I can achieve that look with my scissors...well not without ruining the paper, my fingers, or both LOL!
