Paperback writer

I had my sponges out for a little play to make this bookmark for a Father's Day gift earlier on in the week. The book (or prop), just in case anyone is as "interested" or as geeky as my husband, is The name of the rose by Umberto Eco and it cost him ten pence in a second hand book shop (maybe too much information there, hee hee). I've seen the film, it's the one with Sean Connery and a very young Christian Slater as monks - great story.

Have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

Supplies from Stampin Up - Stamps: Organic grace & botanical blooms. Card stock: whisper white, old olive & kraft. Ribbon: old olive grosgrain, ink: old olive, bashful blue & basic grey. Misc: jumbo eyelet in pewter and ribbon slide from the hodgepodge kit.

Y'know I really struggle to find something for my dad on Fathers' Day but you might have just solved the problem for me! THANK YOU!
Love your delicate sponging - it's a fab effect (and beats using sponges for other chores, LOL!)
Hugs,
