Mint condition

Morning and are you paying attention class? How do you get  from that (above) to this (below) in a few magical steps hee hee! It was my turn to post a tutorial over at In Love With Stamping for the design team and I had been thinking about the things we either threw away or recycle. I had a few of the little mint tins empty in my "big bag" and so started the old grey matter twitching with what could be done with them.

As you can see this is what I came up with, a sweet mini trinket box or needle case (which is what I made mine for as I am always misplacing mine). Pop over to ILWS in the tutorial section and find step by step photos and measurements to make yours :D

Have a great day everyone and please let me know if you have a go as I would love to come visit and see your lovely creations.

Supplies from Stampin' Up!
Paper: Sweet peas designer pad and rose red patterns designer series paper. Embellishments: Sweet pea stitched felt flowers, flower fusion, always artichoke grosgrain ribbon. Rub-on sentiment from the cherished memories collection. Other: PTI button twine.

Another fabulous idea Emma. I have a few of these tins, just haven't been able to throw them out as I knew they would come in useful for something !!

What a great project.

Aaaaaw, this is gorgeous Emma - love it!
I do have one li'l thing to add though - needle case??!! Really??!! Doesn't everyone just stick needles in the table/top of the sewing machine/odd bit of felt that you forget you stuck needles in only to pick it up and bleed all over the place? No? Ah, just me then...
