Eternal flame

Morning all, this little number is part of some mother''s day's projects I have been working on. It was also something very similar to what I demoed at my recent Stampin' Up! workshop and gave as a thank you to the hostess. It is a stamped candle and you can find a tutorial for this technique here, which is not as scary as you think, just be sure to only heat the image very quickly.

Just a quickie today (ooh matron!) but as per usual I am trying to do a million things at once and also working on my design team work which will be revealed next Monday 1st March (which is also St David's day) over at in love with stamping.

Have a great day & see you soon xx

Supplies from Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Bella's bloom.
Ink: Real red and old olive.
Card stock: Very vanilla.
Misc: Old olive striped grosgrain ribbon, linen thread and large cello bag.
Other: Tissue and parchment paper, pillar candle from Wilko, PTI daily designs and sentiments.
Tools used: 1 3/4" circle punch, 1/16" hand punch and heat gun.

This is lovely Emma.
I've just bought some candle from Ikea to give this technique a go - but I am a bit of a scaredy cat and haven't tried yet.
