Black magic woman

And now for something completely different! This is the prototype for some Halloween invites I have been conjuring up for my son's party. What do you think ? I always like to try a sample out before I go ahead with the mass production of invites. I think I will go with this one. The background paper is made from an old thriller that had fallen to pieces lying around the house but for the life of me I can't remember the name of the book - oh well I hope the 5 year old 's can't read it hee hee. A little shot of the inside too :D

Well I was hoping to play with my new stash last night but the blinkin UPS man came yesterday at the only time my husband was out of the house for 5 minutes all day - bum :( Hey ho I have now instructed hubby to not move his bot from the front room window tomorrow ;D

The winner of the last Stampin' Up! goody bag from yesterday was........... Vicki from sweet-swirls - whooo hooo well done you :D Email me at elfstamper@sky.com with your address and I will pop the lovelies in the post for you Vicki.

Have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

* song title from yesterday's post was: "your song" by Elton John

Supplies from Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Cheer & wishes.
Card stock: Pumpkin pie, basic black & very vanilla.
Ink: Basic black.
Tools used: 1 3/8, 1/2 and 1/4 circle punches and sponge daubers.
Other: Halloween stamps, dew drops and rub-ons

I Love your invite. Very halloweeny. Not even a word but describes your card. Love the use of the old thriller. Recycling at its best lol.

Have a fab day

Oooh what a spooktastic invite! I LOVE your background paper - though I don't encourage tearing up books, one that's already fallen apart is just screamin' to be used up on a creative project!
Now how many invites have your gotta make? Don't use James Herbert's The Shrine - I can't finish it as it's soooo scary so you'll definitely scare off your guests if you use it! LOL!
Love,
Aimes

Doesn't that always happen with deliveries? I bet the DHL driver waited until he saw hubby leave!
Brilliant invite and good use of the old thriller. Have fun making loads of them!
