Twisting by the pool

Yipperty, skipperty my Stampin' Up! pre-order arrived a few days ago and I haven't stop playing with it since hee hee. Oh the purddy things that are coming - I am sorry to tease but my oh my they are amazing. This set is called 'good friend' and it has eight stamps including some funky flowers, a sweet sentiment, a birdie along with beak and feet, I have made lots with it.

As you can see the cute little birdy shown in the card and gift box I made for my son's swimming teacher as he passed his stage 3. I am so proud as he is only 5 and it is a tricky level to conquer. I don't think he could have done without his teacher Sarah's help. Some of you keen eyed people maybe thinking, well that's a bit odd Emma - are you giving her buttons :D and personally that is my kind of gift, but I had not bought the chockies when I took the picture and so filled the acetate box with some buttons for decorative effect LOL (sorry about the pic though, the light has been awful at times here).

Hope you are well, have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

Supplies from Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Good friend and pocket silhouettes.
Ink: Real red, old olive, chocolate chip, yoyo yellow, tempting turquoise and creamy caramel.
Card stock: Whisper white, kraft, pink passion, old olive and chocolate chip.
Other: Old olive and tempting turquoise grosgrain, dots & designs rub-ons, linen thread and thick window sheets.

Love what you've done with this set, still awaiting my pre-orders HUMPH!

And personally I'd love a box of button (probably more than a box of choccies LOL).

Fantastic! Gorgeous projects and I love that box it's very clever (I'd prefer the buttons to the choc as well!) Would you mind letting me know how you made it? Was it tricky? I keep looking at these window sheets and wondering whether to purchase! Thanks so much xx

Now y'know a perfect pressie would be choccies mixed in with a few buttons (though could end in toothache if I get 'em mixed up! LOL!)
That birdie is just toooooooooo cute - I think I NEED him! Your creations look fab and are defnitely a tease and exciting taster - I'm drooling as I type!
Pass on a superstar high 5 to your lil' one from me too!
