Smarty pants!

Lots to tell you today, between the awards, the blog candy and colour challenges, phew! There is such a buzz in the blog air at the moment, a definite excitement about. Lots of candy on offer too, between my candy (please scroll up and leave a comment) and some wonderful friends of mine Steph & Kate's (whoo hoo ladies) candy. Steph has just re-launched her new blog and is one of the most gorgeous, generous and talented ladies I know, please stop by and say hi, you won't know how you survived without her and her beautiful creations. Also her partner in crime over at a passion for papertrey, Kate another super talented lady and kindred spirit, who has the amazing ability to inspire everyone who meets her.

To my award now from another talented lady JULS( I am surrounded by so much class). Thank you so much, it really does mean a lot me, she really does spoil me with all her very flattering comments - thank you hunny ;D

Deep breath, are you still with me, we're in the home stretch now lol! I like to give a little explanation sometimes for my post titles when they are not so obvious. Today is in honour of Lesley Edwards, the smarty pants (which is also a song title, can you see a pattern emerging lol) who guessed that yesterday's post title 'I talk to the trees' was sung by none other than CLINT EASTWOOD ?! in Paint Your Wagon, I think. I can't imagine big Clint singing, but sing he did. Top of the class for you Lesley, please email me your address and I will pop a little something in the post for you :D

Lastly (I promise) my card for today, which I sort of LOVE and I must thank the talent of the creator of this bag for the mega inspiration. I am entering it into Dawn McVey's colour challenge, hope you like it. I think it looks like limes and pink grapefruit, yummy :D

Have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

Supplies from Stampin' Up!:
Stamps: tart & tangy and a bit of birthday cheer.
Ink: cameo coral and certainly celery.
Card stock: cameo coral, certainly celery, real red and whisper white.
Ribbon: certainly celery wide grosgrain.
Non SU -button from PTI

I love the card. x Is the song the one that goes "I talk to the trees, that's why they put me away"? If it's not then I don't know the Clint Eastwood song! x

Delicious card Emma! I'm not a fan of Cameo Coral - but you have made it look good lol! The combination of celery and coral looks really fruity fresh and edible!

Hey hun! Well I just love your babbles - you should babble more like me! LOL!
Your card is scrummy - just as scrummy as the jellies from your inspiration. We must have the same taste because I was drooling over that only the other day ;D!

Such a gorgeous card Emma. These colours work so beautifully together. Did you know this week's theme at Cute Card Thursday is Let's Get Fruity. I love Steph and Kate's site - I was lucky enough to get a slice of cake (card cake!) from Steph - she is one talented and generous lady.
Have a fabby day!
