Baby blue

Morning and firstly I must apologise for not making my usual stops around all of your lovely blogs lately. I have been super busy with my holiday preparations - yes! I am off on my jollies next week and have been gathering all the bits and bobs to be stuffed into the suitcase. The funny thing is we haven't told our son we are going on Sunday! he does know we are going to Butlins "soon". This was my husband's bright idea - to just casually inform him on Sunday afternoon to get his coat on as we are leaving for our holidays!

Another £1 bargain canvas photo album from Tesco's (the pink version of it is in this post if you would like to see it). Stamped with whisper white craft ink with the very cool truck from Stampin' Up!s loads of love set. Also make sure you pop over to the in love with stamping forum tomorrow too, where myself and the rest of the design team reveal our fabulous challenge projects.

Have a wonderful bank holiday weekend and I know you will all look after my little old blog next week when I'm away. I am planning some posts but you know blogger ;D - seeeyasooon xx

Sweet child of mine

Morning! and oh what a beautiful morning it is. Thought I would share with you my amazing bargain from Tesco's. I cleared the shelves (well eight of them) of these lovely canvas covered photo albums I found for just £1 each. They also came in a lovely turquoise colour too and have journalling lines on one side and a self laminating pocket on the front for photos.

I have really gone to town with this swirl from Stampin' Up!s baroque motifs set. I stamped with whisper white craft ink on the outside and added the super yummy stitched felt flowers and also added some co-ordinating stamping to the inside too.

Hope you like :D enjoy your weekend and see you on Monday xx

Keep it in the family

Hello and a good morning to you all. What a difference all this lovely weather makes - I feel so springy! More inside 'stuff' from the stationery box I made for my sister in law. I have made a few of these over the last couple of years and had the template from the now legendary Jackie Topa here (bare in mind when making it though that the cards are American sized).

This set is made mostly with the sunny day scrappin kit from Stampin' Up! and I love all the colours in it - so fresh and happy. I did a little paper folding on the card above, this technique is every where at the moment and is so simple to do and looks fabulous.

It's my little one's birthday today so we are off for some smiles and jelly and ice cream - Happy Birthday sweet cheeks :D Hope you have a sunny day and see you soon xx

Supplies from Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Tiny tags. Ink: Tempting turquoise, pink passion and versamark.
Paper, die cut accents and card stock from the sunny day scrappin kit.

A little pic today of a recent stationary box I made for my SIL's birthday. I will have more on it tomorrow of the cards on the inside and where I had the template to make it. But I have to dash. Have a super smashing great day & see you soon xx

Nice one Cyril

Helloooo peeps - how are we all :D A little something for the boys today, I try and make some fun kids cards while I am in the mood to do them. So I have a nice little stash on hand for those bouncy castle, football, rollerskating and other such "fun" parties I get "invited" to these days LOL!

I also made this for the 2 button, 2 brad and 1 image challenge over at in love with stamping forum. My tidbit for today is, if unsure about colouring your images, don't worry too much with shading and fussing - I was overworking the images at first and in the end I found if you simply colour the image it looked so much better :D

Have a great day & see you soon xx

Lazy bones sleeping in the sun

I don't know about you but after being off work for a bit I just can't seem to get back into the swing of things. I have been off work for nearly two weeks and of course my little one is on Easter break. So it has been lazy days mixed with rambles, bike rides and off on adventures. I don't know how I will survive having to go back to work tomorrow (sniff).

These little tags were made as part of the mad evening of challenges we just had over at the in love with stamping forum. I was part host and challenge setter for the evening. It was such fun, my challenge was punch art. I challenged all the ladies to come up with some sort of new and wonderful creature or creations with their punched out or die cut bits and bobs. I made these butterflies for inspiration for the challengees. They are actually hearts punched out from stamped card stock with a hand held punch and laid top to tail with some paper twine wrapped around the middle.

Hope you like them (sorry the pics are not beautified - completely run out of time). Have a great day & see you soon xx

I want to ride my bicycle

Morning all, just a super quick post today - off on our Easter ramble today. Have taken the old stabilizers of my little one's bike! so I suppose that means lots of bruised knees and child proof swearing(blinkin flip, oh crisps, ystradmynych etc) from myself lol!

This is my design team card for the 2 brad, 2 button, 1 image challenge over at In love with stamping. Great fun as always - please pop over for a play or just for a nose :D It's a big weekend for us over on the forum too with the CUP CHALLENGE on Saturday night. I have heard it is a hysterical evening of timed challenges with prizes too I believe. Trimmers and ink at the ready ladies - c'mon!
