Pretty green eyes

This card was inspired by a few things that I have seen and done over the last couple of days. On Tuesday I attended a seminar through work on 'positive thinking' and although quite enjoyable and different there are always moments at these type of things that I glaze over and feel decidedly sleepy. So to keep myself awake I was like a naughty student and doodled all over the one of the handouts they had given me with card sketches and colour combinations. The colour combination I used on this card was from the dress that the main speaker wore. The colours being certainly celery, garden green, whisper white and basic grey. The other inspiration for this card was from the layout of this pretty card.

I leave you with one of the riddles we were set at the seminar. What belongs to you, but is used more by others than yourself? (is it my money shouts my husband from the kitchen? LOL)

Have a great day & see you tomorrow xx

Supplies from Stampin' Up! Stamps: a bit of birthday cheer and botanical blooms. Card stock: garden green, basic grey and whisper white. Ink: certainly celery, basic grey, garden green and black stazon. Misc: button coloured with certainly celery from the latte collection.

Lovely card! I never use Garden Green but I plan to start very soon. And the answer is "your name". Test me again, LOL!

Very cool card Emma - I love it!

I think Helen's right about the riddle, but 'time' also springs to mind - but that's probably a symptom of being a mother!

I'm on a maaaaajor catch-up Emma and having a good old nose at all your bloggy-loveliness that I've missed - all so gorgeous! Had to leave a comment on this post though cos I have green eyes {although they're a swampy green rather than a pretty green according to the Blokey...}, heehee.

Another beauty! Lovely fresh colours against the white. It's good to see just how productive that seminar was (although maybe not in the way they had anticipated!)Although I know the answer must be your name, I have 3 sisters and 'my clothes' would also be a fitting answer!!!

Oooh green *drool* my fave colour! I'm glad it's not only me who doodles within minutes of sitting in a meeting with pencil and paper in hand! It's because we can multi-task - doodle and listen at the same time LOL!
Such a clever card - I love your source of inspiration too!
